Chinese Proficiency Test (HSK), an international standardized test of Chinese language proficiency, set up by Chinese Testing International Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “CTI”) and to assess non-native Chinese speakers’ abilities in using the Chinese language. It is an important part of the promotion of Chinese and the spread of Chinese culture. At present, the HSK certificate has become a necessary condition for overseas students to apply for scholarship and to study in China. 

The test center of Shaanxi Normal University(SNNU) was set up in 2012 and has served hundreds of candidates. SNNU was approved to set up an HSK Internet-based Test center in 2020, which provides great convenience for foreign students from the university and surrounding colleges to participate in the test. HSK Internet-based Test(iBT at center) and HSK Paper-based Test(PBT) provide a variety of test forms for foreign students.

The test center undertakes the HSK and HSKK test regularly every year. HSK mainly covers HSK (level III-VI), HSKK (Primary/Intermediate/Advanced level). It is set in strict accordance with the standards of CTI, requiring invigilator teachers to take up pre-test training with invigilator qualification certificate.
